Northside Recruiting is a nationwide firm founded in Chicago. We started in legal search and grew into construction, AI infrastructure, and corporate roles on the same principle: know the work, and be straight with everyone in it.
Our story
Northside Recruiting takes its name from the part of Chicago we call home. The firm was founded on a simple observation: the best hires have always happened through people who know the work, whether that is the colleague who vouches for you or the recruiter who actually understands the role.
We opened in 2025 and built our legal practice first. The construction, AI infrastructure, and corporate practices grew out of the same approach, because the problem is the same: a job title tells you almost nothing, and the people worth hiring are usually busy doing the work rather than looking for their next job.
On the corporate side we place accounting, finance, administrative, human resources, and operations professionals with the companies that depend on them, from staff roles through the leaders who run the function.

We learn the work first
Before we source anyone we want to understand the role, the team, and what actually makes someone succeed in the seat. Recruiters who skip that step send you resumes instead of candidates.
Short lists, real notes
You get a handful of people with honest commentary on each, including the reservations. A shortlist without caveats is a sales pitch, not a recommendation.
We stay small on purpose
A senior recruiter carries a limited number of searches at a time. That is the only way a client gets real attention instead of throughput.
